BC BUY LOCAL WEEK

The SCBRC has partnered with LOCO BC to participate in ‘BC Buy Local Week’, November 29-December 6, with a dedicated Sunshine Coast campaign this holiday season to promote and support our local businesses.

BC Buy Local is an annual campaign that celebrates local business to promote the contributions that BC businesses make to our economy and our communities. The goal of the BC Buy Local Campaign is to provide a digital platform to highlight BC-based businesses and products.

Join us from 2-3:30pm on Thursday, October 21 to learn how the ‘Buy Local Week’ campaign can support your business, and how you can engage in and make the most of this exciting campaign.

This 1.5-hour workshop will include both content and connection:

• The impact of local businesses – what it is, why it matters, and how to leverage it in your marketing
• Small breakouts to connect you to other Sunshine Coast businesses, discuss your local impact, and plan how to engage in the buy local campaign
• Digital marketing and e-commerce advice for cash-strapped small and local businesses from a leading expert
