Are you passionate about economic development and community building? Do you want to contribute to strengthening economic livelihoods for micro-businesses(businesses with 0-4 employees) on the Sunshine Coast? Then this opportunity is for you! The Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Organization(SCREDO) is currently accepting applications to join our Mobile Vendor and Livelihood Entrepreneur Community Project Committee.
The Community Project Committee will be composed of representatives from SCREDO, Mobile Vendor, Livelihood Entrepreneurs, access-to-market operators and other audiences of interest from across the region. This committee will guide the development of a comprehensive, investable and actionable Sector Development Strategy which supports development of resources for Mobile Vendors and Livelihood Entrepreneurs, builds on existing community assets and programs, expands opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs, and provides direction for sustainable investments that make life better for people and families in our community. The committee will also act as the foundation for facilitating the formation of a Mobile Vendor and Livelihood Entrepreneur Association(if that is confirmed as a desirable next step). Applications close September 15, learn more and apply today!
